Maria and Laura – the mother-and-daughter duo behind Coro Cora – hero slow, sustainable consumption and local craftsmanship; that’s why they work with weaving cooperatives across Colombia, empowering women artisans wherever possible. Handcrafted table accessories are their strong suit, made from natural materials that have minimal ecological footprints. Designs are fuelled by the joys of nature, like a glimpse of undulating coral, a perfectly formed palm leaf or the simple delight of a ripe lemon branch. These whimsical themes are realised with the help of an ancient technique where the palm is intricately woven over a pre-shaped wireframe.
