Vieux Kyoto Porcelain Dessert Plate

Many of Pinto Paris’ collections are inspired by what brought the founder joy, whether that’s furniture, nature or the traditional Japanese art that characterises the Vieux Kyoto collection. The pieces in this series reinterpret Japanese ink paintings (also known as Sumi-e) through intricate chromolithography. Motifs reference the Buddhist temples, shrines and gardens throughout Kyoto and come to life against the backdrop of bright-white Limoges porcelain.
