Kaneko Kohyo’s Giyaman dessert plates are shaped like chrysanthemums, the flower that features prominently throughout Japanese design from wallpaper to 50-yen coins. These dessert plates are finished in a green ‘urushi’ lacquer which lends them a striking glass-like appearance.
