Giberto’s Julia round tumbler is hand-blown by Venetian artisans using grey Murano glass. Characterised by a ruby rim, the ancient rigà-menà technique is applied, where a drop of hot glass trickles down the surface to create a teardrop effect. It is then hot-sealed and solidified in an entirely unique way.

Giberto creates watercolour sketches of his designs on tracing paper, then passes them onto skilled Murano glassmakers. The Julia tumbler is hand-blown and finished in a Venetian furnace using Murano glass and a rigà-menà technique to create a teardrop effect.
