Story

For over four decades, Valentina Hoyos has traveled the world, learning from master craftspeople to deepen her practice as a weaver and designer. Her work today reflects a profound reverence for natural materials and native seeds, nurtured through chemical-free cultivation and thoughtful processing. This results in textiles that bring her worldview home, such as this bedspread, complete with an entirely one-of-a-kind patchwork design.

Maker

Valentina Hoyos crafts textiles that feel like an embrace. Based in France, she draws on decades of experience working alongside skilled women artisans in Central Colombia, weaving natural cotton and sisal into cushions, throws and bedspreads that bring texture and life to any room. Each piece is handmade with care, its subtle imperfections and soft hues a quiet celebration of tradition and craft. More than just textiles, her collections invite moments of comfort and connection, wrapping everyday spaces in stories told through thread and weave.
