Story

Handcrafted table linen from the archives of family-run maison Rolande du Dreuilh Créations was perhaps always destined to make a reappearance, and rightly so, as few modern designs can compete with fine lace and embroidery techniques passed down through three generations of French artisans. Whether hosting a formal dinner or celebrating family-style in the sunshine, each storied piece — vintage, archival and never to be reproduced — adds a whisper of history to the tablescape and pairs as well with elevated styling such as crystal glasses, silverware, and fine china as it does with rustic ceramics and insouciantly assembled bouquets of wild-plucked flowers.

Maker

Now in its third generation, the Rolande du Dreuilh family is renowned for its fine French table linens, crafted using traditional lace and embroidery techniques. For this collaboration, the historic maison has curated a selection of heritage pieces from its archive with the aim of returning them to tabletops the world over—giving them the opportunity to be admired once more. This lace table linen represents the decades of artisanship behind French table dressing and perhaps even galvanize an appreciation for slower, more intentional living amidst modern schedules.
