Story

From straw and willow to rattan and leather, Pigment France moves fluidly between materials, each shaped by the finest craftsmanship and the warmth of the human hand. In the Rochelle collection, leather steps forward. In these bottle coasters, leather is expertly treated to resist water and scratches, then finished with a hand-crocheted border for a result that marries form and function.

Maker

Founded in Saultain, northern France, Pigment France turns natural materials into everyday art. Artisans handweave rattan, willow and straw into refined patterns, using Osier—a wild willow prized for its strength and sustainability—alongside innovative TechStraw, a lightweight, waterproof braided fiber. These materials come together with soft European leather, carefully stitched to create pieces both tactile and timeless. From rattan serving trays to woven jugs, Pigment France’s work invites the quiet pleasure of ritual, bringing texture and warmth to daily life.
