In the Monte-Carlo collection, rattan steps forward. Chosen for its enduring strength, it’s hand-dyed and woven in northern France, and set in dialogue with leather to make this backgammon set. Inside, you’ll find two dice cups, 30 walnut and maple pieces, four rounded dice and a large doubling dice.
Founded in Saultain, northern France, Pigment France turns natural materials into everyday art. Artisans handweave rattan, willow and straw into refined patterns, using Osier—a wild willow prized for its strength and sustainability—alongside innovative TechStraw, a lightweight, waterproof braided fiber. These materials come together with soft European leather, carefully stitched to create pieces both tactile and timeless. From rattan serving trays to woven jugs, Pigment France’s work invites the quiet pleasure of ritual, bringing texture and warmth to daily life.
