Essex-based potter Neville Tatham crafts slipware that honors tradition with a tactile edge. Fired to earthenware temperatures, his vessels reveal the warmth of terracotta clay—sometimes bare, sometimes glazed—offering a beautiful tension between raw and refined. Slip trailing and incised patterns add depth and texture, while the varying slip thickness creates a uniquely expressive surface. Finished with a classic lead glaze, each piece, be it a terracotta teapot or ginger jar, is a quiet celebration of craft, history and hands-on artistry.
