Story

The English Bezel placemat from Artesanías del Atlántico is handcrafted by weavers in Usiacurí, Colombia. Using leaves from the iraca palm, they stitch the gem-like shape with a natural cane pattern ideal for a garden table. This version is hand-dyed in a natural navy hue exclusive to ABASK.

Maker

Some of the finest and most committed Colombian artisans collaborate on this textural tableware, crafted from native palm and stromanthe fibers. Evocative of faraway vacations, designs of astounding detail are shaped by experienced hands and the annals of history—woven and dyed using traditional techniques passed down over centuries.
