Los Angeles-based The Wooden Palate was founded by woodworker Ryan Silverman and his wife, yogi-meets-private-chef Eileen O’Dea. It started with a shared love of household heirlooms designed to cherish forever. To create their handmade kitchen accessories, they utilise the finest materials, opting for sustainably sourced (and often reclaimed) wood from lumber mills in Kentucky and Ohio, ensuring they use every part of the tree. Their pieces are made to last a lifetime, having undergone a meticulous vetting process that sees them test-run by Ryan in the workshop before Eileen weighs them up in the kitchen.
