Story

Saved NY began with an artist’s habit of collecting: Sean McNanney’s Brooklyn studio is filled with antique rugs, old textiles and curious finds, and each design starts there. The patterns are then brought to life in Mongolia, where fibers from nomadic herds are hand-combed and handcrafted in a women-owned workshop. The result feels less like something bought and more like something found, the kind of piece that becomes part of a home’s story.

Maker

Brooklyn-based artist and designer, Sean McNanney turned his dream of creating a line of luxury blankets into a reality. Inspired by Mongolian nomadic culture and a lifetime of collecting ephemera, the brand binds tradition with modern sensibility to create sustainable heirlooms that are like ‘warm friends’. Every piece is handcrafted from responsible Mongolian cashmere, camel hair and Yak down.
