Hand-Stained Abstract Shapes Leather Coaster (Set of 6)

With experience from Parsons School of Design, Peter Speliopoulos now applies his passion for craft to contemporary, hand-stained leather table accessories. His desire to present a balance between primitive and contemporary worlds is at the heart of everything he does, creating pieces that’ll provoke the senses and stir up conversations about the past, present and future. These leather coasters are constructed in Umbria, Italy, finished with a water-repellent coating for effortless cleaning, and formed into three shapes: a circle, triangle and square. Note how each piece has an organic, natural quality with slight variations that lend a soft, subtle patina. Due to organic nature of the material, some fading is expected when exposed to heat.
