Glassware in the 1940s favoured vermouth silhouettes and short stems, details that NasonMoretti puts in focus with this exclusive re-edition from 1941. It's hand-picked by us from the archive and onsite museum, and features a transparent bubble in the centre of the base. To achieve this, the maker must create a small hole in the glowing glass and allow the air to funnel through – the result may look accidental, but is in fact perfectly planned.

NasonMoretti
From exhibitions at MoMA, to exclusive designer collections, NasonMoretti has been uplifting interiors with distinctive glassware since 1923. Founded by five brothers, collections blend Murano mastery with innovative mixing and cold-cutting techniques. Their colour creation method is still a well-kept secret, and they remain the only studio in the world who can produce 22 green and 8 blue shades.
