Man Ray Chess Set

American visual artist, Emmanuel Radnitzky (Man Ray) was fascinated by the game of chess but more importantly, the pieces themselves. Originally manufactured in 1926, this chess set is based on a design from an earlier set, with stylised figures in wood that nod to Egyptian pyramids.
