Augarten’s Déco Vienne collection is inspired by one of Josef Hoffmann’s designs, dreamt up for a silk fabric circa 1910. Decorative elements in black and gold – such as slender bellflowers and abstract graphics – echo the creative flair of the Wiener Werkstätte movement. Each piece is handcrafted in fine porcelain with hand-painted details.

This Vienna workshop defined baroque pottery in the 18th century, then reinvented itself as a purveyor of Modernism. Today Augarten's skilled ceramicists incorporate 300 years of design traditions in every dish, refining each piece by hand and etching it with the recognisable “Bindenschild” coat of arms.
