Palais Doré Scented Candle

Renowned for evocative scented candles, Astier de Villatte’s Palais Doré candle is developed by perfumer Françoise Caron. Each candle is hand-poured in the Parisian-based workshop, while the votive is mouth-blown in Tuscany. The distinctive scent blends notes of bitter orange zest, leaves and twigs of the Calabrian bergamot tree, cedar wood and oak moss.

Old friends from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Ivan Pericoli and Benoît Astier de Villatte call their ceramics ‘dream objects’ – milky-white treasures made from black terracotta, in the style of the Romans.
