This 1970s vase is a minimalist ode to the bullicante technique, first developed in Murano. To achieve the textured effect of trapped bubbles, a tool is introduced to the molten glass, creating a controlled pattern of indentations that capture air as the material slowly cools. In this instance, the uniformity of the bubble pattern offsets the design’s voluptuous form and asymmetric rim. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
