1950s Robert Picault Ceramic Ashtray

Robert Picault is loved for being a pioneering potter, but also for being a friend, colleague and next-door neighbour of Pablo Picasso. They learnt from each other in Vallauris, sharing tips and tricks in their specialised areas. Picault’s signature style consists of geometric swirls and zigzags in a rich, earthy colour palette, as well as hand-painted flowers, fish and birds. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
