Story

Carlo Scarpa’s glassware is regarded as a milestone in Modernist decorative art. One of the first styles he pioneered was bollicine, a technique named after the tiny bubbles of air suspended within. Look closely to spot this at play in this ashtray from the 1930s, selected from the 15-year archive of his time at Venini. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
