Chamois

While travelling around India, Charlotte Amlé fell in love with the country’s heritage, shawl-making traditions and textile handicraft, inspiring her to brave the jump from international finance to interior design with the launch of Chamois. Although based in Sweden, she collaborates with small, family-run factories across India – namely Kashmir – utilising skills passed down for hundreds of years. Chamois’ deftly made creations provide everything you need for a well-set table; the linen is unbleached with a heavy fall and textural handle, while the patterns are inspired by ancient textiles from the Orient and achieved with traditional Indian techniques such as block-printing.
