Story

Wilkens’ silversmithing history goes all the way back to 1810, when Hans Martin Wilkens started the story. Through the ages, family traditions have been honoured, resulting in pieces – like this solid silver platter from the 1950s – that carry the distinct air of quality and unique detailing that are attached to the Wilkens name. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
