Story

Towards the end of the 19th century, a group of French avant-garde ceramicists determined that pottery should be regarded as an art form. Few themes capture this sentiment quite like majolica. This plate is detailed with a charming lobster among other underwater inhabitants. It’s a conversation piece no doubt – and the perfect backdrop to a seafood supper. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
