Story

Innovative silver objects feature heavily in the oeuvre of Gio Ponti, the polymath widely recognised as the ‘father’ of contemporary Italian design. This fruit basket was created by Ponti in collaboration with Arthur Krupp Berndorf during the 1950s. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
