Antique and Vintage 1960s Robert Picault Ceramic Serving Platter

French potter Robert Picault was a close friend of Pablo Picasso. They spent a lot of time working in the picturesque village of Vallauris, taking inspiration and learnings from one another’s work. Picault signatures include green and brown motifs on a white background, while his glazes were often made with copper and iron oxide. This ceramic platter, sourced from the 1960s, is a fine example of his expert eye. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
