Ercole Barovier, one of Murano’s most influential 20th-century designers, was known for reimagining traditional techniques through a modern lens. His neo murrine approach reinterprets the historic murrine method—not with sliced glass canes, but with surface-applied, mosaic-like patterns fused directly into the form. This 1960s vase showcases that innovation in vivid blue tones, its irregular, cell-like pattern wrapping the flared body above a dark foot. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
