French artist Robert Picault produced some of the most original and distinctive ceramics of the 20th century. There’s a certain playful innocence to his works, this salad bowl being an example of such, when subtly asymmetric paintwork gives an insouciant feel to a piece that belies the artisanship behind it. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
