Story

Towards the end of the 19th century, a group of French avant-garde ceramicists determined that pottery should be regarded as an art form. Few themes capture this sentiment quite like majolica. This basket from the 1950s is decorated with asparagus and finished with a striking glaze. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
