Vittoria Zecchin was a man of many talents – to name a few, he was a painter, graphic artist and designer of furniture, ceramics and glassware. In 1916, he opened a workshop in Murano, before he took on a directorial role at the Cappellin-Venini company in 1921. These vases are dated just after these ventures, designed by Zecchin for Pauly & Co.
