This antique jug is ingenious – the ice sits in a separate chamber to chill the drink but not dilute it. It was handmade in America by The Boston & Sandwich Glass Company circa 1880 with a distinctive, reeded glass handle. A similar example is in the Brooklyn Museum. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
