The Table Love’s zero-waste philosophy sees upcycled fabrics put to work. The Rush collection utilises ikat, which is an ancient Indonesian technique where yarns are resist-dyed prior to weaving. The results, as you can see here, are lively, dynamic and sure to impart energy – and love – into your table. Each piece is woven by hand on looms by artisans in Kandal, Cambodia, using riverside rush.

Founder of The Table Love Roberta Ellingsen trained as an Interior Architect in London and Milan, before expanding her expertise at several interior-based publications. It wasn’t until 2018, while on a sabbatical with her family in the Alps, that she fully explored her love ofpieces for the home – and more specifically, the table. Her wonderful team is far-reaching and inclusive, with female embroiderers in Ukraine and block-print artisans in India. Plus, she doesn’t overlook her carbon footprint, applying a ‘zero spill’ policy to avoid unnecessary waste, while also opting for eco-friendly alternatives wherever possible.
