Luciano Morici and his wife Doriana established Morici in 1979 as an output for their shared love of fine craftsmanship. They set up base in their hometown of Recanati, a small Italian village with a reputation as the cradle of craftsmanship in the Marche region. Today, the family name is held up by Mirco Morici – Luciano and Doriana’s son – who continues to spread the word about the centuries-old Italian tradition of artistic woodworking. Their boxes and accessories tell stories through mosaic wood inlays, high-impact colour palettes and glossy finishes, all of which are carefully curated to enhance the naturally dyed, meticulously chosen wood veneers.
