Story

A signature of the house since 1961, the Cirrus bed blanket celebrates Brun de Vian-Tiran’s pioneering use of mohair. Sourced from the lustrous fleece of the Angora goat, the fiber is prized for its airy warmth, remarkable softness, and luminous color. Woven in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and finished with a brushed handle and delicate fringe, it embodies the expertise that has defined Brun de Vian-Tiran for over two centuries.

Maker

Founded in 1808, Brun de Vian-Tiran has spent more than two centuries perfecting the art of exceptional natural fibers. Based in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue—a Provençal town shaped by a rich textile tradition—the family workshop has passed through eight generations, from founders Laurent Vian and Charles Tiran to today’s custodians, Pierre and Jean-Louis Brun. Revered for marrying innovation with savoir-faire, the house transformed the world of luxury blankets in 1961 with the introduction of its pioneering mohair throw—an enduring icon whose lightness and softness remain unmatched.
