Bollenglass’ exquisite creations have a quiet, old-world charm that’s illustrative of their rich design stories. Each mouth-blown piece is handmade by master craftspeople in line with Czech traditions, which are widely considered to be some of the most complex in the world. The designs are often reproductions of historical styles from the 16th and 17th centuries, complete with intricate handiwork and a greenish-yellow hue. The colour palette is inspired by forest glass – a form of glassware that garnered attention during late medieval times for its use on everyday vessels and ecclesiastical stained glass windows.
