Kickie Chudikova
Kickie Chudikova was born into a world of color. Raised in Bratislava, Slovakia, she grew up in a modernist house where each wall wore a different hue—a remnant of the previous tenant, a painter. Rather than paint over the past, her parents leaned in, layering bold floral carpets, orange pendant lights and green kitchen cabinets into the mix. Now based in Brooklyn, Chudikova brings that chromatic legacy into everything she creates, from Murano glass lamps to Bohemian crystal carafes. There’s a sense of optimism in her work, as if she’s bottling joy for the home. She moves confidently between the worlds of craft and technology, but it’s color that remains her north star.
