Storied ceramic house Augarten originally designed the Belvedere service in 1735, inspired by the curves of 18th-century Chinese porcelain. The pieces in the series feature scalloped edges and pops of 24-karat gold – details that’ll no doubt propel this series to the fore of your collection.

Meet the Maker:

This Vienna workshop defined baroque pottery in the 18th century, then reinvented itself as a purveyor of Modernism. Today Augarten's skilled ceramicists incorporate 300 years of design traditions in every dish, refining each piece by hand and etching it with the recognisable “Bindenschild” coat of arms.
