Entirely unique and one-of-a-kind, Perla Valtierra’s handmade, large serving bowl is hand-thrown, oxide glazed and fired at 1200° by Valtierra’s team of 20 artisans in Bajío, Mexico. The black rustic design and scalloped rim nods to a local pottery tradition in Dolores, Mexico which dates back to colonial time.

Based in Mexico City, Perla Valtierra’s hand-made ceramics transport you back in time, where every piece connects the maker and the user. The ‘aesthete’ practices traditional pottery across the globe, perfecting her Bajío earthenware and oxide glazing techniques.
