Claudia Martinez Mansell founded Kissweh to create fair working opportunities for those in the refugee camps of Lebanon and Syria. The Ensaf cushion is named after the embroidery coordinator at the Rashadiyeh base, and is based on a traditional pattern often used on the edges of dresses. It’s embroidered entirely by hand over the course of two to three weeks and complete with a tonal zipper. The craftswomen combine the colours differently every time, making each piece one of a kind.
