The Ritzen series is a striking example of the sgraffito technique Hedwig Bollhagen pioneered in the 1930s by scratching out patterns in the hand-thrown clay with liquid glaze. Handcrafted at the Marwitz workshop exclusively for ABASK, these green soup plates are variations on Bollhagen’s Bauhaus-inspired design.
