Entirely unique and one-of-a-kind, Perla Valtierra’s handmade bowl is hand-thrown, oxide glazed and fired at 1200° by Valtierra’s team of 20 artisans in Bajío, Mexico. The green rustic design and scalloped rim nods to a local pottery tradition in Dolores, Mexico which dates back to colonial time. Due to the unique glaze, some inconsistencies in finish may occur.

The ‘aesthete’ practices traditional pottery across the globe, perfecting her Bajío earthenware and oxide glazing techniques.
