Story

Behind every Métier beach blanket is a wonderful story of craft that can be traced back to a storied mill in the hills of Tuscany. Here, the maker handweaves each piece from sustainable sourced materials using artisanal looms made from local oak trees. Each one is embroidered and features a colourway inspired by vintage Porsches, while a light water-resistant coating serves as the perfect barrier between you and damp sand. This one is presented in collaboration with Cabana – simply roll it up and pack it into your tote for beach days, picnics and everything in between.

Maker

Founder and designer, Melissa Morris longed for pieces that embody luxury design and serve a function in the most refined way. Enter Métier —a leather goods house closely bonded with family-run ateliers to support artisans in an age of modern mass-manufacturing. Colour palettes inspired by vintage Porsches complement uncoated Italian leather, which is proven to get better with age.
