Story

A collaboration between Giobagnara and Poltrona Frau marks a noteworthy chapter in home design. The pieces are handcrafted in Italy from Pelle Frau – Poltrona Frau’s trademarked leather that’s breathable and resistant to water, rubbing and stains. Minimalist design principles are at each creation’s core, as well as a series of fine finishes reflective of the detail-driven philosophy at the collaboration’s heart. This Chinese mahjong set contains 148 engraved walnut and maple tiles, 244 walnut sticks, 4 plexiglass dice and 1 leather-covered wind indicator dice, all contained in a leather-covered wood case.

Maker

Giobagnara and Poltrona Frau have collaborated on a collection of home-design pieces aimed at leisurely moments at home. Giobagnara’s know-how merges with Poltrona Frau’s trademarked leather, Pelle Frau, which has been treated to guarantee breathability and resistance to water, rubbing and stains. Form and function come together in this new chapter, where every piece is crafted by hand in their shared homeland of Italy.
