First designed in the 1960s by earlier generations of the Auböck family, this brass and leather magazine rack is still produced at the Vienna workshop. Skilled artisans stitch the draped leather and cast the brass stand from original mid-century moulds. Everything is handmade and hand-assembled. Please note, as this piece is made and finished by hand, slight markings and imperfections may occur. These only add to its unique character.

Meet the Maker:

Carl Auböck

After years at the forefront of the Bauhaus and Wiener Werkstätte traditions, Carl IV still works in the same atelier with the original brass moulds. He has modernised the hand-worked desk sets with input from designers like Michael Anastassiades, yet the handmade ethos remains.
