Five generations of the Libeert family are behind Libeco, as creative control has passed through the hands of Paul – who founded it in 1858 – Albert, Jean-Loup, Raymond and Raymond Jr. Time attests that there’s nothing this family doesn’t know about linen, as do the soft, refined fabrics that echo the thread of quality that runs from field to fibre. The result is a selection of towels and table linen host to the internationally renowned Belgian Linen label – a merit only six weavers worldwide currently carry. Styles are modest and timeless, defined by rustic colour palettes, frothy tassels and stripes of every kind.
