Kaneko Kohyo’s Giyaman side plates are shaped like chrysanthemums, the flower that features prominently throughout Japanese design from wallpaper to 50-yen coins. They’re finished in an indigo blue ‘urushi’ lacquer which lends them a striking glass-like appearance. Perfectly sized for serving sides and breakfast pastries.
