Hering Berlin

Stefanie Hering has a purist, often bold design language that cherishes the art of the human touch. Her love for porcelain started during childhood, as she recognised the need for everything on the table to have an appropriate stage. In 1992, she founded Hering Berlin, which is dedicated to superior quality and age-old craft. Her selective team backs this up, as only those trained by Hering can bring her visions to life – as well as artisans from the Reichenbach manufactory in Turing. She’s inspired by architecture, imperfections and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s postulation that ‘the material is beautiful – we should show it’.
