Artist and polymath Peter Speliopoulos has made manifest a lifelong passion for color, texture, and craft in many forms, from fashion to handcrafted objects for the home. He nurtured a love for material and construction while growing up in Springfield, Massachusetts, before attending New York’s Parsons School of Design. Today, at the helm of his own workshop, he applies his diverse skill set to home-design heroes such as leather table accessories and natural stone lamps, ceramic vases, and other works. Each design is intended to heighten the senses and bridge the contemporary with the primitive while honoring the traditions of the artists and craftspeople who came before.
