This ombré effect vase has a generous, rounded form and beautiful glaze, designed by four artists, André Boutaud, Louis Dangon, Slavic Paley and Raude who make up Accolay. The brand reached new career heights when Christian Dior ordered 300 ceramic buttons for his New Look collection. Hand-thrown, the vase has intricate groovings, textural variations and a distinctive blue colourway which is thought to resemble the colour of the glistening sea on the Cote d’Azur. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
