Translating to ‘musical instruments’, the Fornasetti Strumenti Musicali screen is a rare find from the 1950s, comprised of four folding panels, castors and a laminated design of stringed instruments that’s been lithographically transferred over wood. It’s handcrafted using artisanal techniques – first, it’s silk-screened by hand, then hand-painted and covered with a smooth lacquer.
