In 1992, Bernie de Le Cuona founded her eponymous fabric house, guided by a lifelong love of linen and a curiosity for texture in all its forms. From Belgian flax to Himalayan cashmere, her collections celebrate the tactility of natural fibers, crafted in workshops across Europe and beyond where specialist artisans spin, weave and finish each fabric using time-honored techniques:some by hand, others on cutting-edge looms. Expect understated cushions and blankets that feel as good as they look, their palettes drawn from the wild landscapes of her South African childhoodand finished with quiet details—a certain stitch, zip or fringe—that speak to her nature-rooted, innovation-minded eye.
